What began as a temporary public art project commissioned by the City of Austin Art In Public Places, later became two permanent structures. The original skeletal steel structure (yellow) allowed for two identical volumes to be separated and built out as finished buildings - an air conditioned office and a spartan backyard shed + material storage.
